Romanian Classic of the Day: N&D - Nu E Vina Mea (2001)
Back in the late 90s and early 00s, a popular format in Romanian music was that of the male rapper accompanied by a female singer. N&D was one of the bands that pioneered this format and made it explosively popular during the time. The band formed in ‘99 when Marius Nicolae, who called himself Nick, and Delia Matache met and started their musical career together. They enjoyed a prosperous run until ‘03, when the two went their separate ways and Delia started a solo career. Nu E Vina Mea, which translates to “It’s not my fault,” was one of their biggest hits.
